All bus routes posted are subject to change.  If you don't see your bus stop from last year or if you are school of choice please contact transportation.

• If your student misses the bus do NOT chase the bus, call transportation.
• Reid parents must be at the pm bus stop to receive their students or they will be returned to the bus garage.
• Pupils shall remain at least 10-20 feet well back from the roadway while waiting for the bus.
• Pupils shall enter the bus in an orderly fashion and go directly to a seat and remain seated until the destination is reached.
• Some students may have assigned seats.
• Pupils shall keep their hands, arms, and heads inside the bus.
• There shall be no shouting, roughhousing or throwing things on the bus or at the bus stop.
• Students shall observe all behavior rules related to safety, the well-being and respect of others.
• All articles such as athletic equipment, books, musical instruments, etc., must be kept out of aisles.
• The emergency exits must be used for emergency only.  Students are not to touch safety equipment on the bus unless directed by the driver to do so.
• Pupils who must cross the street at a bus stop shall not do so until they receive a signal from the bus driver.  When crossing a street is necessary, it shall always be done in front of the bus at least 10 feet ahead of the bus so that the driver may adequately observe them. This means that the student should be able to see the face of the bus driver.  The driver shall hold the bus with warning lights flashing (and stop sign out) until the crossing has been completed.
• There shall be no smoking/vaping at any time on school buses.  Flammable materials are strictly prohibited.
• There shall be no eating on the school bus.
• Each student shall be at the designated bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time and ready to board the bus. DO NOT LOAD or approach bus from behind.  The driver is responsible for maintaining a schedule and cannot wait for tardy pupils.  
• Each student shall ride designated buses ONLY. We cannot accommodate changes for play dates, babysitting, sports, etc. 
• Students shall respect property of others at the bus stop and while on the bus.
• Students must identify themselves to the bus driver when requested.
• Students shall stay off the traveled roadway at all times while waiting for the bus.
• Students must wait until the bus has come to a stop before attempting to get on or off.
• Students may leave the bus only at the consent of the driver.
• Students should report to the driver any damage to the bus, which is observed.
• Students should help keep the bus clean, sanitary and orderly.
• All directions given by the bus driver are to be followed by all riders at all times.
• Students must adhere to the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the school district regarding acceptable use of technology.
